Ground Zero January 2002 No one was found in this Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) train uncovered in the rubble of the east wall of Ground Zero. Port Authority personnel saved hundreds, maybe thousands of lives, by shutting down and evacuating the subway tunnels below the World Trade Center immediately after the first plane hit. |
